This bundle includes my Mitosis Bundle and Meiosis Bundle

Mitosis Slide Show You will receive the PDF and PPT versions of the slide show
This 33 slide slide show covers:
The purpose and outcome of the cell cycle
Chromatin to chromosomes
The parts of a chromosome
Sister chromatids and the centromere
The 2 main phases of the cell cycle
~Interphase (including descriptions and diagrams)
~~G0, G1, S, and G2 phases
~Mitotic phase
~~Mitosis (including descriptions and diagrams)
~~~Prophase
~~~Metaphase
~~~Anaphase
~~~Telophase
~Cytokinesis (including descriptions and diagrams)
A diagram showing all the steps in order

Mitosis Graphic Organizer Activity PDF
Students will describe and draw the phases of the cell cycle. They will also label the centrioles, spindle fibers, chromatin, chromosomes, and chromatids.

Mitosis Manipulative Activity PDF
Students will be able to identify the events that take place during the cell cycle.
This is a hands on activity where students will be manipulating the organelles found in a cell during each phase of the cell cycle: Interphase, Mitosis, and Cytokinesis.
Each page is made to:
~Print and attach to Velcro/magnets to hang on a board for visual representation of the cell cycle.
~Can be manipulated on a table/desk for students to demonstrate the steps of the cell cycle.
This can be individual student work, teacher-led, or group/station work.
This set is based on a cell with 4 chromosomes.

Mitosis and Meiosis Word Wall Vocabulary Cards PDF
You will receive 33 vocabulary cards with definitions in PDF format covering terms about cell division. this includes mitosis and meiosis.
Word list:
Cell Cycle, Centriole, Centromere, Chromatid, Chromatin, Chromosome, Crossing Over, Cytokinesis, Diploid, DNA, Gamete, Haploid, Interphase, Nondisjunction,
Nucleus, Ovum (egg), Replication, Sperm, Spindle Fibers, Mitosis, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase, Meiosis, Prophase I, Metaphase I, Anaphase I, Telophase I, Prophase (II), Metaphase (II), Anaphase (II), Telophase (II)

Mitosis Artwork and Labels PDF
After drawing the art for my Mitosis and Meiosis slide shows I felt that that it may be useful in some classrooms to hang on the wall or as manipulatives. I hope you can find use for it.

Mitosis Test, Review Questions, and Answer Keys PDF
You will receive a test with key and review questions with key.
The test is multiple choice, matching, and short answer.
The review questions cover all of the material on the test:
1. Name three reasons cells undergo cell division.
2. Name the four phases of Mitosis in order.
3. What happens during Interphase?
4. What happens during Prophase?
5. What happens during Metaphase?
6. What happens during Anaphase?
7. What happens during Telophase?
8. What are the main phases of the cell cycle?
9. Which phase is the longest phase of the cell cycle?
10. What are the G0, G1, S, and G2 phases of interphase?
11. What is the end result of mitosis?
12. How many chromosomes does a human cell have? How many pairs of chromosomes does a human cell have?
13. Define the following: Chromatin, Chromosome, Chromatid, and Centromere.
14. Draw Metaphase and Anaphase with 4 chromosomes and label the following: chromosome, chromatid, spindle fiber, and centriole.

Meiosis Slide Show You will receive the PDF and PPT versions of the slide show
This 43 slide PPT covers
Fertilization
~Gametes and zygote
Haploid (1n) vs diploid (2n)
Homologous chromosomes
Cell division
~Interphase (including descriptions and diagrams)
~Meiosis I (including descriptions and diagrams)

~Cytokinesis (including descriptions and diagrams)
~Meiosis II (including descriptions and diagrams)
~~Prophase II, Metaphase II, Anaphase II, Telophase II
~Cytokinesis (including descriptions and diagrams)
A diagram showing all steps in order

Meiosis Graphic Organizer Activity PDF
Students will describe and draw the phases of meiosis, label the centrioles, spindle fibers, chromatin, chromosomes (single and homologous), and chromatids, state the total number of cells, and state whether the phase is haploid (1n) or diploid (2n).

Meiosis Manipulative Activity PDF
Students will be able to identify the events that take place during Meiosis.
This is a hands on activity where students will be manipulating the organelles found in a cell during Interphase, Meiosis I, Meiosis II, and Cytokinesis.
Each page is made to
~Print and attach to Velcro/magnets to hang on a board for visual representation of Meiosis.
~Can be manipulated on a table/desk for students to demonstrate the steps of Meiosis.
This can be individual student work, teacher-led, or group/station work.
This set is based on a cell with 4 chromosomes.
