This is a great simple project that will help your students compare and contrast how cells (along with their organelles) mimic many seemingly unlike objects (a cell is like a school in that it has a nucleus [principal], a cell wall [the building itself], etc.). This usually takes my students about two class periods to complete, so it really allows them to learn about each organelle and reflect on its role within the cell. Have fun!
Materials Needed: printer paper, drawing supplies
The designed PDF can be enjoyed they way it is, but a more straight forward editable word doc is included as well.
