I created this cell quiz so that students could show me they can label basic parts correctly and answer questions pertaining to the job of each part. The labeling is done by coloring specific parts the designated color. I have included multiple choice questions as well as analogies based upon the job or description of each cell part. We used real world objects to represent jobs of the cell parts. (Before this we did a magazine activity where students cut out pictures of objects that we could use to remember the job of each cell part. example: a smart phone could represent the nucleus because it tells the cell parts what to do and the smart phone has programming that tells the phone what to do.) I have also included a higher order thinking question that students must respond to in written form.
