Here is a great task to review cell parts and their structures and functions! The descriptions for the cell parts in this activity are based on the Campbell Biology textbook (Chapter 6 in 10th ed). This is a cut-and-sort paper activity - set up to be printed on 11 x 17 paper. Students cut out mixed cards that include structure and function information for major cell parts. Then they sort the cards out onto a blank table. Once their answers are confirmed, pieces could be picked up to be re-used, or students can tape or glue the responses down to make a study tool. An answer key is included. Plus the document is editable for you to customize!
