This cell assessment includes over forty questions that tests students' understanding of the structure, function, and history of the cell. The first two pages will have students label the parts of both a plant and animal cell and identify the function of each organelle. Then, students will have to compare and contrast a prokaryotic, eukaryotic, and bacteria cell. A true/false section is used to check a student's understanding of cell facts and the importance of Robert Hooke. Lastly, an extended response section gives students an option of which open-ended question they would like to answer. Question topics are about Hooke/Leeuwenhoek and the Cell Theory. Having this test in a Microsoft Word format makes it easy to modify for your students of varied abilities. An answer key is included for easy grading!
