This is a 2 page activity that can be used as an introductory tool or as reinforcement. for passive transport. The first page is a coloring activity that covers osmosis, simple diffusion, and facilitated diffusion. The second page is an analysis page that includes True or False; tables, and fill-ins. There is also a differentiated version included for younger grades that you can use at your discretion.
Coloring portion: Students must color the cell membrane, water molecules, carbon dioxide molecules, sugar molecules, ions, carrier proteins, and ion channels. Students must also determine which direction the molecules are diffusing, and label the proteins.
Analysis portion: students determine if statements pertaining to passive transport are true or false, fill in a table to define/describe each type of passive transport, and finally a fill in the blank. There are some differences among the differentiated version.
