Most middle school students are familiar with the word “selfie”. This term is used to indicate a self-portrait taken on a digital device. This activity utilizes this knowledge of social media, and incorporates their understanding of the workings of a cell. I call the project “cell”-fies.
The file includes instructions for the lesson, an Instagram template, and a grading checklist/rubric. The checklist was created two to a page for the ability to do a double-sided copy with the Instagram template and rubric.
