Product Description

There are thirty-two vocabulary terms competing in this tournament bracket challenge with the prevailing theme of cellular transport. Students follow the following directions to determine the winning term in each pairing for each round until the winning vocabulary term is identified.

The directions are as follows:

  • Round one winners are a physiological process in a cell.
  • Round two winners are a form of cellular transport.
  • Round three winners are a form of active transport.
  • Round four winners are a form of endocytosis.
  • The tournament champion is pinocytosis, a process where a cell ingests droplets of fluid.

I provided a key with the answers in bright red font. I also included a two-page guide that features a brief profile/description for all thirty-two vocabulary terms participating in the tournament if students need the supplemental resource.
