This was designed as a creative art center activity but could also be used as an art sub lesson or art mini-lesson. Students look at snowglobe samples and then come up with their own ideas of what they would like to put inside. Multiple sheets of samples are supplied. A line drawing of an empty snowglobe is provided for students to fill in. A page of directions for students to follow is included. Also, a sheet with questions to help stimulate ideas is given. The teacher only has to print out the slides and hang them in their center area.
This would be a fun winter activity and might be good for teachers who want something seasonal instead of religous in December.
Supplies needed for the students to complete the activity are simple. They need: pencils, crayons and printed worksheets.
The students’ finished art would make great bulletin boards too.
