Illustrations and if applicable, videos are added. The visuals give students examples of what is read in the section, making it more memorable and understandable.
Includes slide transitions and line by line animations as you present and discuss each line of text.
Matches the "Understanding Economics" textbook for McGraw Hill.
There is room on the bottom of the first and last slide to add your own "warm up" "due today" and other assignments.
Some PowerPoints also include a Common Core Literacy Strategy "Close Reading of a Primary Source" slide as an activity at the end. You may delete that slide if you don't wish to use it, or if you wish to use the slide, you can purchase the accompanying primary source worksheet for that slide in my store under the category "Common Core - Economics"
NOTE: The thumbnail pictures are not necessarily in the order you will find in the presentation. They are just the best examples to give you an idea of what's in the powerpoint.
