Cha-Ching is an EXCITING way to get kids counting coins and solving coin tasks! CCSS 2.MD.C.8.
how to play:
Setup: Each person chooses one pocket to keep their coins on and one game marker. Each player begins the game on one of the four yellow circles in the corners of the game boards. You do NOT earn any coins for starting on this shape.
On your turn, roll the dice. Move that many spaces, in any direction.
Choose a task card. Read it out loud and answer it. If you answer correctly, then you earn the coin on the game board your marker lands on. Place this coin on your coin pocket.
You may combine your coins in your pocket at any time. For instance, if I have five pennies, I will choose to trade it in for one nickel.
The first player to reach a value of $1.00 wins the game!
