Sew Your Own Chair Pockets!
Disclaimer: I am not a fabulous seamstress. I can operate a sewing machine and make straight-ish lines. That’s really about it. This Tutorial originated because I sewed my own chair pockets when I went back in the classroom, and I needed it to be cheap! Other teachers saw my Chair Pockets and wanted to know how to make them, so I posted this tutorial to Hello Mrs Sykes in September, 2012. So many teachers asked for a printer-friendly version, so here ‘tis!
Here's an inexpensive way to create chair pockets for your classroom with minimal sewing skills (4 straight lines per seat cover - promise!) Â You'll need an iron, scissors, measuring tape, and some fabric. Â Warning - lots of pictures ahead!!
