Challenge Task #2 is one of a series of ten worksheets that foster creativity, communication, and cooperation in the World Language classroom. Pairs or small groups of students are given a challenge to list the use of a common object that could be used in an emergency situation. The task requires them to speak, write, and create a spontaneous response in the target language. Directions on individual worksheets are written in English to allow use by any language teacher. However, all class work and responses by the students must be in the target language.
