Aligned to TEK 1.5B this freebie is the perfect activity to help students identify changes in materials caused by heating and cooling such as ice melting, water freezing, and water evaporating.
We began by using unfrozen ice pops to observe the liquid state of the pop. Then we placed the pops in the freezer, waited 24 hours, and then observed the solid state. We used this recording sheet to track our observations and prediction/conclusion!
