2 Powerpoint Files, 1 PDF
In this activity, students will use real-life charts and graphs to practice using problem solving skills to find changes in temperature. This is great for:
* Whole Class Practice
* Individual Practice
* Group Practice
* Math Centers
Included in this activity are 15 printable or digital task cards, an answer document, and an answer key.
Included are two PowerPoint files that are perfect for whole group practice or individual practice. One PP file is grouped, meaning that the question marks covering the answers cannot be moved without first ungrouping. The other file is not grouped. The question marks covering the answers can be moved so that students can check their own answers. My students completed the activity with the grouped version and then checked their answers the next day with the ungrouped version.
This activity allows students to practice interpreting graphs and charts while familiarizing them with the common language often used in determining changes in temperature.
SAVE YOURSELF LOTS OF TIME BY USING THIS ACTIVITY CREATED ESPECIALLY FOR MY STUDENTS TO HELP THEM STRETCH THEIR MATH THINKING USING REAL-LIFE SITUATIONS!
