This set includes 5 puzzles with 12 pieces. There is also a student answer sheet for each puzzle and a teacher answer key. Students can have fun changing fractions into decimals by putting a puzzle together!
Have students place the puzzle pieces with the decimals facing up. After a student has changed a fraction into a decimal correctly, they will turn the puzzle\ piece with matching decimal over. The student will continue this process until all 12 pieces of their puzzle have been turned over.
This could be used as a center, small group, or whole group activity. This could even be done as a race, where students could compete against each other to see who can change their fractions in decimals the fastest. Students could show their work on scratch paper or use dry erase boards. The possibilities for this activity are endless. Be creative and have fun!
