This is a powerpoint presentation on ayurvedic understanding to enhance your yoga teaching. Ayurvedic and yogic philosophy include a whole branch of understanding on psychology and the mind. The first part of this powerpoint presentation defines health and habits according to ayurvedic philosophy, the three forces of life that control the mind, the varied functions of the mind and the three states of mind, according to the vedic texts. The second part of the powerpoint includes an explanation of simple ways to make better use of the mind, to change habits for the better and some simple diet, breathing and meditation techniques you can implement today.
