Here you will find a presentation where your students will practice or review changing mixed numbers to improper fractions and also improper fractions to mixed numbers. This product comes with 6 questions for each concept and a recording sheet for the students.

I use it as an interactive lesson where I project the question and the kids then show their work and answers on their recording sheet. The presentation is set up to show the correct answer on the following slide for an easy way for teachers to quickly check for understanding.

Add and subtract mixed numbers with like denominators, e.g., by replacing each mixed number with an equivalent fraction, and/or by using properties of operations and the relationship between addition and subtraction.
