This product has multiple resources that I use to help my student's understand a character's traits. There is the analysis chart for those student's who understand how to collect text evidence from a character's actions, dialogue, and thoughts. For those that need more of a visual, there is the resource with actual action, thought, and dialogue bubbles. Go over the difference between traits and feelings using charts with common examples, ordered like linear arrays. The culminating activity is writing an essay worded just like PARCC. This resource supports Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
