A group project I use at the end of literature circles or book clubs. Students create a character sketch and plot line, and discuss character interactions and quotes that impact the main character (or a character of their choice). Each section focuses on the students' analysis of character development and/or theme. Guidelines for each section are included, as well as a grading sheet, rubrics for certain parts of the project, and a peer evaluation. Peer evaluation is scored by members of the group and then their final "individual score" is an average of the scores given by their peers.
To complete the project students will need access to poster board and other crafting materials and/or computers, if they choose to make it a digital presentation.
