Bundled Character Analysis Series: Character Unit of Study Close Reads. This product was created to give teachers options when it comes to reading instruction. The reading series is often overwhelming with so many choices and sometimes quite frankly not filled with things some teachers want to use. These short, focused close readings of easy-to-find trade books can allow some creativity while providing all you need to get the job done. These character close reads come with complete lesson plans, essential questions, formative and summative assessment options, and allow the busy teacher to teach in a more engaging manner. This bundled pack is the compete unit of study on characters. This unit was built upon each week so that the standards' complexity increases as the year progresses. My hope for you and your students is children gain a love of reading, students get to dig deeper into text, and this saves you TIME in your busy life. Happy teaching!
