Description

In this holiday activity, students design stockings and choose gifts for characters, authors, historical figures, scientists, artists, or others being studied in secondary classes. This gets students thinking, reading, and researching about their gift recipients. After their analyses, students write paragraphs that provide rationales for their gift choices. To meet the needs of diverse learners and student age groups, there are several handouts to choose from.
