Use these baseball cards with students as a creative way to describe a character in a book. Students illustrate a picture of the character and describe the character (either with information given or implied in the book). Students then give a "fun fact" about the character. This can be explicit information from the text or implied information. This could be used as part of a choice board, in a station/center, or as homework. This could also be used to help students learn about important people in social studies.
