Character Bedroom Character Analysis
Product Description
A fun, interesting way for students to do a character analysis that requires deeper thinking skills than just stating obvious actions and traits! Students are to create their own version of a character's bedroom (any character they choose) and must explain why they chose to put each item in the character's bedroom specifically. Is the character messy or neat? What types of books do they like to read? What are their clothes like? Is there a lot of color or is it drab? Is there a luxurious four poster bed or a small cot on the floor? There is a lot that can be done with this project. Includes brief directions, an example bedroom with reasons, and two versions of Snow White's bedroom: one that is one solid picture and one where the items can be edited and moved around. No rubric as it is a fairly open project, but I usually grade it out of a 100 scale. Could also be adapted to historical figures as well!
