Do your students mix up the characters every time you read a work of literature? Playing a character card sort memory review game will not only help them remember the characters, but it is also a fun and engaging activity.
There are 3 types of cards: Character Cards, Description Cards and Quote Cards. Students needs to match each character with his/her description and a quote that he/she said (in a few cases there are quotes about the character because that character didn't have any lines in the novel.)
The character cards come in both color and black and white. Pick which one works best for your printing needs.
Students can work individually or in small groups during this activity. Students will find this activity much more engaging than a traditional character chart.
