Character Description Snowflake is a tool to help students describe characters they read about using physical traits, thoughts, words, and actions. This organizer has places for students to write down a page number to help them practice finding text evidence!
Bonus: You can also use this to help students plan a character out for their narrative writing. Pages 4 and 5 are the same organizer (thoughts, words, actions and physical description) without a spot for page numbers! This is a great way for students to transfer what they learn in mentor texts to their own writing!
4RL3: Describe in depth a character, setting, or event in a story or drama, drawing on specific details in the text (e.g., a character’s thoughts, words, or actions).
