These bell ringers have been designed for every student to walk away with a character analysis statement based upon the same text. Four different activities are included in order to move from remediation of your lower level students (with scaffolded questions and a paragraph frame) to enrichment for your higher level students pushing them to take the concept a step further. Suggested use for after the concept had been fully taught and students are able to work independently on the task. This quick, 10-15 minute opening routine activity may be reviewed whole group or later revisited in small group settings.
