Kiddie Matters

It is so important that children learn how to be honest and trustworthy. This product is designed to help students from Preschool through 5th grade learn and practice the important character trait of being trustworthy.

You can use this product either individually, with a group, or with the whole class.

Included in this product are:

-Trustworthy Poster
-30 Discussion Cards (6 are blank for you to write your own discussion questions). You can use these cards for whole class or group discussions, journal prompts, or to discuss with students individually.
-Deck of Trust Cards Use these cards to help children identify people in their lives that are trustworthy. Discuss with students why they believe these people are trustworthy.
-Trustworthy Mini-book (black and white and color). The mini-book defines what it means to be trustworthy in terms young children can understand. It also gives them examples of how they can be trustworthy.
-24 Behavior Cards I recommend printing these cards out on heavy cardstock or laminating them to make them more durable. Use these cards to play the behavior sort game in which children group behaviors based on whether or not they are trustworthy or untrustworthy.
-Trust Walk Worksheet Helps children to think about how they can handle different situations in a trustworthy manner.
-Trusting Ollie Worksheet Helps children figure out what qualities they should look for in people to know whether or not they are trustworthy.
-Synonyms for Trustworthy Word Search A fun way to get children to learn other words that mean trustworthy.
-Journal Prompts The quotes used in this writing exercise are designed to help children think about and express what it means to be trustworthy.
