Little Tree Frog admires the poison dart frogs of the rain forest because they show no fear. He wants to be one of them and tries to be like them. When things go terribly wrong for the poison dart frogs, Little Tree Frog is happy just to be who he really is.
The story can be easily read by most 3rd and 4th graders, maybe even some 2nd graders. You'll have to read it to the little guys.
The narrative is followed by discussion questions that help kiddos relate self reliance to their own lives.
