Description

Sip & Chat now includes a DIGITAL component for all of your relationship building needs! Included are now 2 Google Forms (one multiple choice and one short answer) that can be sent to student's via Google Classroom or email!

As a teacher you know that forming relationships with your students is extremely important. Relationship building is the framework for a successfully run classroom as well as important to a students social/emotional growth.

Sip and Chat is a time during your day where you grab your tea/coffee/water and sit down with your students either in a designated spot in your room or wherever they are working in the room at the time and simply chat! All in a laid back manner where the student feels safe and comfortable having a conversation with you.

Sip & Chat can be done in any amount of time. If you have 5-10 minutes in the morning or 30 minutes in the afternoon either one would work. It does not have to take a large chunk of time and it should NOT be done as a pull out. Keep it as organic as possible. The point is so that your students form a lasting relationship with you not only as their teacher but as a person!

What's Included:

  • Google Form: Multiple choice questions to get to know your student's better. Send via Google Classroom.
  • Google Form: Short answer questions that can be sent weekly via Google Classroom to gage and monitor students social emotional needs.
