Marvin and Jessie skits are easy to prepare, fun to present, and your students will absolutely love them! Characters, played by staff members, will model character traits in memorable and often humorous ways. Each skit is approximately 30 minutes long and is presented at an all-school assembly. Songs and follow-up lessons are available.
In this skit, Marvin and Jessie are contestants on a game show called "Resolution Idol". As they compete, they model techniques for resolving conflicts in peaceful ways, such as using humor, talking it out, and walking away from violence. The three judges who critique the performance of the contestants, provide a comic exaggeration of television judges.
