These document is a PowerPoint presentation that provides a list of thirty character education vocabulary words and their definitions and at least one picture that represents the character education word (on one slide), a quote by a famous person about that specific character trait word (on one slide), and at least two follow-up questions for each character education word to generate a discussion about the character education vocabulary words.
The thirty character education words include: patriotism, punctuality, courteousness, self-control, compassion, loyalty, sportsmanship, kindness, honesty, thriftiness, perseverance, creativity, diligence, courage, joyfulness, dependability, caring, cheerfulness, pride, cooperation, politeness, cleanliness, patience, fairness, forgiveness, respect, honorable intentions, individuality, honor, and tolerance. There are thirty words so that each full week (weeks that were less than 5 days did not include a character education word for that week) of school will have one designated character education word for the week. The thirty words will provide you a year long way to incorporate character education words into your classroom.
