Students will choose one character from the story and explain how that character’s feelings changed throughout the story. They should use text evidence to support their statements. On each tab, students will:
• SW choose a word to describe how the character was feeling at the BEGINNING/MIDDLE/END of the story. They may NOT use happy or sad; instead, have them use a synonym from the thesaurus.
• SW illustrate how the character was feeling (using text evidence) at the BEGINNING/MIDDLE/END of the story.
• SW use text evidence from the story to explain how the character was feeling at the BEGINNING/MIDDLE/END. They will use text evidence from the story that supports their statements.
