Here is a hands-on, creative way for students to practice finding the Character's Motivation of a passage. This craftivity is great for centers, intervention, guided reading groups, or reinforcing what you have already taught. We absolutely love this craftivity because students will always remember that Motivation is what "DRIVES" you!
They will read a passage, determine the character's motivation and highlight text evidence. The students will help the race car drivers race to the finish line and achieve their motivation. This makes a great bulletin board display!
This product includes:
•Extension Activity: students are able to identify whether the motivation is external or internal or the students can create checkpoints on the race track and write the steps taken to reach their motivation.
