Characters, Setting, and Events Print and Digital is a character analysis unit of study that focuses on characters overcoming obstacles, point of view, retelling, illustrations in text, and comparing and contrasting characters. This unit is perfect for blended learning classrooms and distance learning.

This unit of study also contains an introduction to Reading Workshop. Your students will focus on asking and answering questions, recounting stories, character development and analysis, vocabulary, and illustrations making meaning in the text,

This four-five week unit of study focuses on close readings with books that contain characters that children love and in which they can relate. This unit is the first in a series of units that cover the entire year.
