Product Description
This lesson is part of a larger unit which focuses on Hamilton and Jefferson, and how their character strengths led to the formation of American political parties. This lesson is a History Mystery which involves having students read and analyze documents (quotations by modern-day presidents) and decide what their character strengths are, what their political views are, and who they would have supported in the cabinet battles: Hamilton or Jefferson. From this, students will develop an understanding not only of American political parties, but character strengths in relation to politics, political figures, and themselves.
