This editable and customizable activity gives students a chance to practice thinking and writing about character traits. You can copy the "self-portrait" slide and input each student's name. This activity is a great way to introduce or review character traits as part of Language Arts, while also integrating social-emotional learning and character education. Students will get the chance to think of 6 character traits they would want someone else to use to describe them, then write specific examples of what they should do and say to show each trait. Then, students can decorate their self-portraits. This makes a great hallway or classroom display!

Included in the slides is an example self-portrait, editable name slide, writing sheet with instructions, list of positive character traits, and example sentence starters.
