Product Description

After teaching a lesson on character traits I noticed that many students often respond with comments like I think she's mad or I think he's glad or I think they're sad. They offer information about character feelings rather than traits. I created these worksheets to help the students to understand differences between feelings and traits. There is a worksheet on character feelings and a worksheet provided on character traits. During my lesson I used a book focused on characters feelings one day and then a book focused on character traits and incorporated how certain actions made the character feel.

Example books: "The Way I Act" or "The Way I feel" by Janan Cain.

I have also provided differentiated worksheets that may be useful for lower students in the class.

In total there is 6 worksheets, including 2 differentiated
