The following resources are included in this Character Traits Bundle:
Character Traits Centers
First Center: Character Trait Mazes
Students are given a character trait. In order for them to complete the maze correctly, students must shade in sentences that say something a character with that trait would say, do, or think.
Included: 5 character trait mazes, a student recording sheet to help you understand your students' thinking, and answer keys.
Second Center: Character Traits Spin
Students use a pencil and a paper clip to "spin" a certain character trait. Then, they have to write down a paragraph explaining something that a character with that trait would do, say, or think. 3 different pages with different spinners are included.
Third Center: Character Traits Sort
This can be an independent, partner, or small group activity. Students must match up paragraphs that describe something a character with the correct character trait.
Included: 6 character trait cards, 18 detail cards, student recording sheet, and answer key
The centers are fairly low prep. The Character Trait Mazes and Character Traits Spin just need to be printed and copies. The Character Trait Sort require a little cutting and optional laminating.

Have students help you sort the words into groups based on their synonyms. Or, for a bigger challenge, have students sort the words based on their "shades of meaning."
Character Traits Lists
These character traits lists can be used to help expand your students' character trait vocabulary.
There are 3 lists:
1. Sorted by Synonyms - This list includes common character traits and their synonyms.
2. Positive Character Traits
3. Negative Character Traits
