Description

These six partner plays are intended to be used as fluency-building activities that 4th-5th students can do with a partner. It comes with a BONUS recording sheet. After reading the scripts, student use text clues to infer character traits of the characters in each script. They write the words on supplemental worksheet, citing evidence from the text to support their answers.

When you purchase this resource, you will get to choose the format that best meets your needs and your students' needs. You will choose between the printable partner plays and the paperless version that uses Google Slides.

These scripts require minimal teacher support, thereby allowing teachers to work with other small groups. For teachers who implement reading centers, these plays are perfect.

This set includes six independent scripts (character traits used in the scripts are in parentheses):

Beloved Dexter (considerate, insensitive)

The Big Win (arrogant, humble)

Uncle Adam's Escapades (adventurous)

A Date with Danica (undependable, caring)

Who Will Ask the Question? (assertive, anxious)

Partner Work (honest, deceitful)
