These character traits task cards are a fun way for students to practice the vocabulary associated with character traits. Each task card contains a short reading passage. Students must read the task card, and then use the clues to make an inference about a character's traits. Students must give text evidence to defend their answer on their answer sheet.
This resource contains:
-24 character trait reading task cards
-An answer sheet that requires students to cite evidence about the character traits
-An answer key
The answer sheet has a word bank of character traits that students must choose from. The word bank includes a variety of character traits to help build student vocabulary.
This is a great activity to practice character trait inferences with 2nd grade or 3rd grade students. It can be used as a character trait review, as a character trait SCOOT activity, as small group instruction, or individual practice.
