Are your students learning about character traits?
Are you tired of your students using the same words and phrases to describe characters, like "nice," "brave," shy," etc.?
Would you like to push their thinking to include more challenging words to describe characters?
Here is a resource that can improve your students' vocabulary and also strengthen their writing about reading.
Students are given kid-friendly definitions for challenging words.
Then, they use context clues to help them fill in blanks. At the end of the exercise, students are asked to write a sentence that shows the meaning of one of the words listed above.
Answer Key is included.
