Product Description
You ever wonder what's the best way to teach describing character? Well one of the way I like to teach the standard is with mentor text. Lacey Walker is my favorite resources to use to do so at the beginning of the year.

Start the year off with introducing the importance of listening skills and describing character all at one time. This resource is excellent for teaching both. 20 pages of activities that teach you to describe a character and to discribe a character as they change throughout the story.

In this unit you get
- vocabulary words
- prediction page
- owl to use for anchor charts or to color
- shades of meaning worksheet
- describing Lacey graphic organizer
- describing character change flip book
- describing character questions
- summary graphic organizer
- summary writing paper
- answer keys
