ADMITTING MISTAKES, APOLOGIZING This skit will encourage students to take responsibility for their actions by admitting their mistakes and apologizing even when it's not easy. Students teach themselves as they practice, read or memorize the script. Class can be divided into several small groups to perform the same skit. This will give everyone a chance to have a speaking part and also learn to be a polite, courteous member of an audience. Script is teacher friendly. Script was carefully written so either a male or female can select any role. Students can use own name to make it easier. Just choose a part and write all names before printing or beginning the skit. Invite the class next door to watch. Easy way to share with peers. A lesson is available at the end of script, as well as an oath of promise for the students to take. Look for other "Character Laws-Without the Flaws" skits to perform.
