LISTENING-This skit shows why it's important to listen intently in order to have a successful outcome. Students will have fun learning as they read or memorize the script. Divide class into several small groups to perform the same skit. Children will have the opportunity to practice their listening skills while being a polite and courteous member of the audience. Yet they will have their opportunity to take the stage to perform and enhance their language skills through oral expression. Script is teacher friendly. Script was carefully written so either a male or female can select any role. Students can use own name to make it easier. Just choose a part and write all names before printing or beginning the skit. A lesson is available at the end of script, as well as an oath of promise for the students to take. Look for other "Character Laws-Without the Flaws" skits to perform.
