MS-PS4-2
Develop and use a model to describe that waves are reflected, absorbed, or transmitted through various materials.

This performance assessment requires students to explain why cell reception is unreliable in mountainous regions using the behavior of waves. Student then propose to a cell phone company one action that can be taken to improve service in these regions.
