Do your students need help with identifying function families, finding domain and range, describing end behavior, finding areas of increase and decrease and basically everything there is to do with the graphs of functions?
Mine do too, which is why I created this one-stop shop to practice and review all things function before digging into the specifics or a particular function or taking it further.
It is broken into 5 sections, each with a different focus. In each of the first 4 sections, students are asked to identify the characteristics and then asked to sketch a graph from a written description.
Section 1 - families, domain and range
Section 2 - areas of increase and decrease, intercepts and average rate of change
Section 3 - asymptotes, end behavior
Section 4 - transformations, even/odd/neither
Section 5 - bringing it all together and reasoning with function characteristics (extended response)
