Make your own set of cards describing living organisms, and keep them in a handy envelope with an acronym to help you remember what you learned!
These cards explain the concept of life by introducing the 6 basic traits and 4 basic needs of organisms. They also include 6 related vocabulary cards.
Students read each description (with examples), highlighting the key words. Then, they illustrate the need or trait on the back of the card.
After highlighting and illustrating, the students color and assemble the envelope, which includes a mnemonic device to help them remember they needs and traits.
