Do your students need help working with and graphing quadratic equations in general form?
Look no further!
Students are presented with 8 quadratic functions and asked to identify a, b and c; determine if the parabola opens up or down; calculate the vertex, identify the axis of symmetry and maximum or minimum point and identify the domain and range. On a separate page, the students then complete a t-table for each function and graph it on a pre-scaled grid.
Note - The x-coordinates in the t-tables are not given to provide practice in selecting points to the left and to the right of the vertex. As a result, the values given in the answer key are merely suggestions.
