Students practice identifying individual characteristics of quadratics; can be used in whole class instruction as a review game, or can be printed out to use as an individual activity.
To use as a game divide class into teams, each team should have a mini dry erase board and marker. For each question the team has a given amount of time to answer, then show their answer boards. Teams that have the correct answer earn points, and a chance to compete in some type of game to earn more points. I have used trivia games, trashketball, corn hole, Wii bowling as opportunities to earn extra points. The more active the game the more the students participate.
